What Is The Difference Between Look, See And Watch?

SEE
When you notice something using your eyes. Used without a preposition:
I can't see you.
I saw a lovely bag in the shop over there.
Didn't you see Ram? He was waving at you.

Other meanings: understand:
I see.
I see what you mean.

LOOK (at)
If you want to see something, you need to look at it. You point your eyes in a particular direction. You need to make a conscious effort to do this.
Look! It's snowing!Did you look at the photos?
I'm looking but I don't see it.

If it is followed by an object, we need the preposition at:
John looked at Mary.

WATCH
We watch something for a while, our eyes follow it as it moves or changes. That is why we watch television, these are moving pictures.
The police decided to watch the suspect rather than arrest him immediately.
I like watching football on TV.
We all watched Tom walk over to his boss, slap him and get fired.

Exception: We watch TV at home but go to see a concert or a film at the cinema:
We're going to see George Clooney's latest movie at the cinema tonight.
Have you ever seen Madonna live on stage?
